A Glimpse of the Future
This is an amazing and entirely original concept that I have seen so far and personally, I see this happening in the next 5 years. And believe me, we’re almost there!
“This is the result of the Open Innovation experiment. It is an experience video showing the future of screen technology with stretchable screens, transparent screens and e-ink displays, to name a few.”
It’s awesome! Great video editing.
File Sharing: It Will Likely Never Stop
Guest post by James Mowery
Odds are you have come across a headline or two while browsing on the internet; people are file sharing, and that equals the destruction of the music and media industry. But does it really? Or are they simply exaggerating to hopefully open a few more wallets in the process? How can you know?
The truth is, no matter how much work the companies may put into attempting to stop file sharing, it is unlikely to work. In today’s world, people expect to get what they want almost immediately, even if it implies getting what they want through less legal means. They do it through online forums, bittorrent sites, instant chats, and many other ways that have yet to be pinpointed. They do it even if they know that it is wrong, and that it might mean less money in the pockets of Hollywood.
Some people, however, seem to believe that companies should get with the program and embrace the new ways that people share. To them, the companies are being old fashioned; and if they stick to what they have been doing, then they very well could face destruction. For those who visit forums frequently, the debate fights that have broken out over this subject could fill a stadium. And yet, few who adore or disdain the world of file sharing are moved enough to move to the other side.
The future is never certain. For all the world knows, file sharing could disappear tomorrow, never to be seen again. But it is still thriving. Until something is done, either by people stopping downloads or the companies finding some way to work it to their advantage, change is unlikely.

The Role of Web Design For Today’s Business
Guest post by James Mowery
In the fast-paced world of the Internet, it’s important for businesses to have a good, quality website. Web design is part of the new face of marketing, and a well-designed site only helps when it comes to attracting customers.
A website is one of the best sales pitches a business can have in today’s market, and a recognizable URL will stick in people’s minds longer than a passing glance at a storefront. Many websites have become synonymous with the businesses they represent, and more and more brick-and-mortar businesses are beginning to sell their products on the Internet.
Quality web design gives customers quick access to important business information. Being able to know at a glance what products and services a business offers fits the busy lifestyle of today’s consumer. An excellent homepage is better than a brick-and-mortar storefront in its ability to catch and keep a customer’s attention. Having information close at hand to back up a company name or logo adds to business
credibility. The more a site can tell a person in a short amount of time, the better.
An attractive site layout utilizing well-placed blocks of text and quick-loading images can help catch prospective customers’ attention and keep them browsing long enough to become interested in what a business has to offer. If products and services are offered on the website itself, it is imperative that customers be able to find what they want without having to search for too long. The longer a person has to look, the less likely they are to stay on the site.
Having a well-designed business website is with clear information is essential to attract today’s Internet-savvy consumer. The information such a website conveys can be the difference between gaining or losing customers.
